Summary
| Description |
English: A diagram plotting mass against charge for the six quarks of the standard model, and depicting the various decay routes due to the weak interaction and some indication of their likelihood. Shown as up (u), down (d), strange (s), charm (c), top (t) and bottom (b). Note the logarithmic y-axis.
Created per request from User:Headbomb on Wikipedia:Graphics Lab/Illustration workshop based on File:Weak decay diagram.svg. Original request was: 1) The mass axis should point up, not down. (i.e. vertical flip the image) 2) Instead of using full lines / dashlines /etc... the "likelyhood" should be grayscale-coded, based on the most recent CKM matrix coefficients. 3) The position of the quarks on the mass axis should use the most recent masses. u: 2.3 MeV d: 4.8 MeV s: 95 MeV c: 1,275 MeV b: 4,180 MeVt: 173,070 MeV |
