| Description |
English: A compact packing of the plane with non-overlapping binary discs (two sizes of circles) with a radius ratio of 0.6375559772. The packing fraction (area density) is 0.910683. This has a wallpaper group cmm. It has been shown that this structure achieves the densest possible packing at this ratio (possibly degenerately) (cited in Kennedy [1]). |
