Everything from rock to steel drums, ballet, folk, kids shows, orchestras. 2011's lineup include Beatlemania Now, Grease Band, guitar great '" Charlie Gracie, and much more. My buddy, the versatile local guitarist, Greg Snyder will be performing with the New Orleans style blues band- James Day and the Fish Fry on June 22. Unfortunately yours truly - Philly boy, doesn't get out to Delaware County too often to take in these festivities. Boo hoo!

Universal, Orlando Florida - If you want to enjoy a party right here in Central Florida, Universal puts on a good show for the holiday. This has to be one of the longest running Mardi Gras celebrations! It started February 12th and runs through April 23rd. One of the things that make this such a great event is the big-name bands that come to play. Some of the concerts include KC and The Sunshine Band, The Beach Boys, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Foreigner, and the B-52s to name a few. Check out their website for a entertainment concerts schedule.

However, unless you've got the money, getting in to your concert isn't always easy, particularly with them popular ones. Concert tickets these days are too pricey, that we sometimes feel they're not worth our hard-earned cash. We can only skip meals for several days to save money, and then we'd have to give in because of malnutrition.

Usually, when you discuss pop music, you list two or three hits or favorite songs. With The Carpenters, that is just laughable! They had so many amazing songs of their own, and even when they did remakes of other music, it was so memorable.

Snoop Dogg, August 7, 2009 at the Festival Pier, Penn's Landing, Philadelphia. Rap icon Snoop Dogg will make a special appearance in Philadelphia this summer. On August 7, Snoop and the band Slightly Stoopid will bring the "Blazed and Confused" concert to the city.

Launched only weeks ago, Carman's Kickstarter campaign has become the most successful Christian music campaign for Kickstarter to date. The campaign began on April 19 and by May 13, Carman posted another update on Facebook - the goal of $200,000 had been raised. "Reaching a goal of $200,000 on Kickstarter is historic. The most any Christian artist raised was 105,000. That 200 K covers the whole recording process, producers, publicists, musicians, promotion budget, travel, distribution, photo shoot and personel. If you loved this post and you would certainly like to obtain additional information pertaining to Las Vegas Shows Tickets kindly browse through the site. It's a very expensive task. But we did this 33 days early, lol." As of today, that total has grown to over $235,000 with over 2,550 backers.

For two nights in June, Saturday, June 13 and Friday, June 12; fans of classic rock all over the world will be rejoicing the Borgata's shows this weekend. Chicago ranks among the best selling bands ever. They have been around for more than 40 years and have achieved five number one albums, 20 top 10 singles, a Grammy and over 120 million in record sales. Chicago came about in the late 1960s and redefined pop combining jazz, rock, and intense horn arrangements which drove their strong beat. In February 2007 the National Association of Recording Merchandisers awarded Chicago with the Chairman's Award for sustained creative achievement. Now you can come see Chicago at the Borgata.

Improve finger dexterity (for when you call local radio and TV stations). Bands distribute special tickets to some of the local radio and TV stations, who in turn give them away as contest prizes. Seek which those stations are, find out their promo dates and times, clear your schedule, and ready your phone (a good tip, by the way, is to put their numbers on speed dial). Come the anointed hour, you'll have to be patient. Keep dialing until you get through or until, boo-hoo, someone else wins. Move on to the next station (if there's any) and repeat. Do your homework and study before the contests start. Nothing sucks more than making it through the line and not being able to answer the contest questions.

Then usually the 2nd and the 3rd recitals go worse than the first because now you know what to expect. You get nervous and start making mistakes in places which are ridiculously simple. I have to say that this is perfectly normal. It is just a natural learning progress.

During the 1970's, heavy metal rockers were experiencing a heyday. Those of us in high school who didn't care for acid music often turned to the Carpenters for the Pop sound we missed from the 1960's. "Please Mr. Postman," "Only Yesterday," and "There's a Kind of Hush" all had that positive, upbeat feeling we craved.

Peaks Island is the most developed of the Casco Bay Islands. Here you can explore an old fort or visit the small Civil War museum which is open during the summer months. There are even Civil War reenactments held on the grounds of the museum.
