In [[differential geometry]], the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Chen–Gackstatter surface family&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; (or the &amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039;Chen–Gackstatter–Thayer&amp;#039;&amp;#039;&amp;#039; surface family) is a family of [[minimal surfaces]] that generalize the [[Enneper surface]] by adding handles, giving it nonzero [[Genus (mathematics)|topological genus]].&amp;lt;ref&amp;gt;{{citation|last1=Chen|first1=C.
